A travel agency offering a wide range of travel services. Its platform enables seamless multi-currency payments, real-time availability checks, and personalized user profiles.

The project lacked proper documentation and a structured testing process. The system experienced frequent crashes and performance issues.

Our QAs were tasked with testing the platform across mobile (Android, iOS) and Web. We conducted both manual and automated testing to identify bugs and usability issues.

Challenges

Solutions

• Created necessary documentation, including automation scripts and bug reports.
• Using UI tests, we validate that the UI elements function as intended.
• Executed performance testing using realistic data and booking scenarios, optimized execution through parallel test runs, and validated system performance under high traffic conditions.
• Utilised BrowserStack to ensure continuous testing across various browser versions, devices, and operating systems.
• Helped to improve application performance and system stability through thorough API testing.
• Implementation of automated end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• 500+ manual test cases were written (including API and database testing), most of which were later automated.
• Up to 450 bugs were localized, reported, and retested after being fixed.
• Significantly enhanced the platform’s stability and efficiency, while also improving usability and accessibility to make it intuitive for users on both desktop and mobile.
• Decrease in user-reported issues by 50%, thanks to the new real-time tracking system.
