About Company
The company offers logistics management solutions aimed at optimising goods transportation, warehouse handling, and distribution planning.
Before
The project had no proper documentation and lacked a structured testing process. The system experienced frequent crashes and performance issues.
Challenges and Solutions
Our QAs were tasked with testing the platform across mobile (Android, iOS) and Web. We conducted both manual and automated testing to identify bugs and usability issues. While working on the project, we encountered challenges related to its unique features. We are happy to share this experience with you.

Technologies, Tools, and Approaches

- Automation frameworks: WebDriverIO + Mocha + Appium for cross-platform, cross-browser, web and mobile testing
- Test management tool: TestRail for organising test cases and tracking test runs
- Cross-platform testing tool: BrowserStack for real device testing across different platforms (iOS, Android, different Web browsers)
- Security testing tools: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite
- CI/CD integration: Integrated autotests in the GitLab pipeline
- Task management tool: Jira for reporting and tracking defects
Results
- 500+ manual test cases written (including API and database testing), most of which were later automated
- 300+ automated tests integrated with GitLab CI, enabling continuous regression
- Ensured the absence of post-release bugs across all standard user scenarios.
- Enabled early detection and reporting of bugs
- Reached above 85% test coverage across both the mobile app and web platform, of which 70% was covered by automated tests.
- 1000+ bugs were localised, reported, and retested after being fixed.
